Heavy-duty bags sized for standard bins, made from plant starch that breaks down in a home compost within roughly 12 weeks under EN 13432 conditions.

A flat-folding stool with a bamboo tread and steel pivot, rated to 120 kg. Folds to 6 cm for storage behind a door.

Making Bamboo Last让竹材更耐用

Bamboo is durable, but it is not maintenance-free. Three habits account for most of the difference between a board that lasts five years and one that lasts twenty.

竹材耐用，但并非无需保养。以下三点习惯， 是砧板能用五年还是二十年的主要差别。

  • Wash and dry immediately. Standing water is what causes cracking, not use itself. Never put bamboo in the dishwasher unless the product says so.
  • 用完立即洗净并擦干。导致开裂的是积水而非使用本身。 除产品明确标注外，请勿将竹制品放入洗碗机。
  • Re-oil every few months. A food-safe mineral or board cream restores the surface and keeps water out of the fibres.
  • 每隔数月上一次油。使用食品级矿物油或砧板油， 可修复表面并防止水分渗入纤维。
  • Use both sides. Turn boards over between tasks so the knife edge wears evenly.
  • 两面轮换使用。不同用途间翻转砧板， 让刀刃磨损更均匀。
